Bob hadn’t worked out since high school. In retirement and facing some health concerns, he decided to start working out and joined the Y. After completing an orientation, he realized that he would need more guidance and started personal training with Jess. In just 6 weeks of training, his life has been enhanced not only physically, but also mentally. He speaks highly of how she listens and assesses his needs. Bob has increased his flexibility and strength. He can breathe easier because of how tall he can stand now. When he joined the Y, Bob saw working out as a chore that he had to do early in the day just to get it out of the way. Since working with Jess, he has started coming to the Y later in the day when he has more strength because he wants to be able to do quality work. Through the Y, Bob reclaimed his vitality.

Households across our community have different needs so we offer a variety of membership types. Each of our locations offer many different programs, schedules, and classes therefore offerings and fees may vary by branch.
Every day, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. At The Y, no child, family or adult is turned away due to an inability to pay.
Financial assistance awards are assessed on a case by case basis during a one-on-one, confidential session with a staff member. Those interested in applying for our financial assistance program are encouraged to download this form, or stop in to any of our branches to learn more and pick up an application.
