Summer Camp

This summer—more than ever—kids need to get outside, get active and put down devices!
YMCA Summer Camps offer one of the most powerful learning environments and can be a place where a child’s social education and independence takes place. They provide children with the opportunity to try new activities and when they succeed—they build self-esteem and confidence. Children also build on their teamwork and problem-solving skills by being part of a supportive community and partaking in activities together.
Although still structured, summer camps are more relaxed than the school routine and offer time and freedom for spontaneous play. The Y provides healthy eating, physical activity, fun in nature, arts and crafts, swimming and much more!
"I love how active the kids are. My daughter comes home worn out from having so much fun!”
Campers are challenged and encouraged to grow every day by nurturing, caring adults, who practice the Y’s Character Values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility. Counselors are well-trained professionals and lead campers in a safe and healthy environment. Y counselors are dedicated to making sure camp is an amazing experience for every camper.
"The staff has been amazing, helpful, positive and energetic!”
Camp, like many Y programs, is about learning skills, developing character and making friends. But few environments are as special as camp, where kids become a community as they learn how to be more independent and how to contribute to a group, while engaging in physical, social and educational activities. Camp teaches self-reliance, a love for nature and the outdoors, as well as builds character and leadership, all amidst the fun of team building, swimming, talent shows, and meaningful relationships.

To make camp an exciting and safe experience this summer, we've updated our policies and procedures in line with CDC Guidelines.  Check out the below video and download our Health & Safety Plan

Financial Assistance

Every day, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. At The Y, no child, family or adult is turned away due to an inability to pay.

Financial assistance awards are assessed on a case by case basis during a one-on-one, confidential session with a staff member. Those interested in applying for our financial assistance program are encouraged to download this form in English or download this form in Spanish, or stop in to any of our branches to learn more and pick up an application.
