Summer Camp

Camp, like many Y programs, is about learning skills, developing character and making friends. But few environments are as special as camp, where kids become a community as they learn how to be more independent and how to contribute to a group, while engaging in physical, social and educational activities. Camp teaches self-reliance, a love for nature and the outdoors, as well as builds character and leadership, all amidst the fun of team building, swimming, talent shows, and meaningful relationships. Y counselors are dedicated to making sure camp is an amazing experience for every camper.

2020 Summer Day Camp will look a bit different, but will still provide opportunities for fun, learning and engagement for kids.  Our summer day camp will open on Monday, June 8th, as dictated by the Governor's movement of our area from the "red" to "yellow" phase.

To make camp an exciting and safe experience this summer, we've updated our policies and procedures in line with CDC Guidelines.  Check out the below video and FAQ for more information:

Financial Assistance

Every day, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. At The Y, no child, family or adult is turned away due to an inability to pay.

Financial assistance awards are assessed on a case by case basis during a one-on-one, confidential session with a staff member. Those interested in applying for our financial assistance program are encouraged to download this form, or stop in to any of our branches to learn more and pick up an application.
