Super Shining Stars Program: Our Super Shining Stars program provides a safe, nurturing environment for special needs children and adults. Our 45 minute coed program utilizes fitness balls, drumsticks and music to create a positive learning experience. The motor skills development, auditory processing and increased attention span will enable students to overcome their individual challenges. Students have the option to be seated or stand behind a stability ball and drum to the counts and rhythm of upbeat music. To enhance coordination skills, students are encouraged to walk around the stability ball and continue their drumming efforts. All participants aid in the clean-up of equipment at the completion of class.
Youth Track & Field Program: Our Youth Track & Field Program is designed to introduce track and field events to boys and girls ages 5 years and older. Coaches will combine technical development and fundamental techniques with safety and conditioning at each practice. Youth will practice twice a week and participate in mock track meets. This program is held at Catasauqua Area School District’s Alumni Field.
