Warming Station

During the winter, the Allentown Branch of the Greater Valley YMCA will host the Allentown Warming Station, a safe-haven for people experience homelessness in Allentown.  The Warming Station will be located in a portion of the Y’s sub-basement. This will allow the guests to have more space than has traditionally been available at previous locations. We will provide a separate entrance which will not interfere with the Y’s membership, child care services or other programs.

Our summer camp features swimming, field trips (including Greater Valley YMCA Field Day and Camp Kresge), and age appropriate weekly themed activities! Campers will be exposed to activities designed to teach independence and team building skills and support the four core values of the Y: Caring, Respect, Responsibility and Honesty.
