We focus our work in three key areas, because nurturing the potential of kids, helping people live healthier, and supporting our neighbors are fundamental to strengthening communities.

Allentown Branch

Located in downtown Allentown, the Allentown Branch of the Greater Valley YMCA offers a cardio center, free weights and exercise equipment, pool, childcare including 2, 3 and 5 day options, group exercise classes, adult education classes, racquetball courts, two full-size gymnasiums, and many multi-purpose rooms. At the Allentown Branch of the Greater Valley YMCA, you will find programs for people of all ages, backgrounds, fitness levels and more. Also coming this winter season, we will be opening a warming center for our homeless neighbors.

Branch Specific Information

This winter, the Allentown Branch of the Greater Valley YMCA will host the Allentown Warming Center, a safe-haven for Allentown’s homeless.  The warming center will be located in a portion of the Y’s sub-basement. This will allow the homeless clients to have more space than has traditionally been available at previous locations. We will provide a separate entrance which will not interfere with the Y’s membership, child care services or other programs.
