Healthy Kids Day

Saturday, April 18th, 2020

On April 18th, we will be celebrating Healthy Kids Day, our national initiative to promote the well-being of kids!

YMCAs across the nation will be offering free wellness, community connection, social responsibility and family support resources to all members of our communities.  There will be promotions, giveaways, activities, and fun!

At the Greater Valley YMCA, all six of our Association Branches will be hosting family-friendly activities throughout the day.  Though Branch event times & specific programming may vary, the goal of the day is to showcase the Y's children & family programs, while partnering with other organizations highlighting family wellness and support.

Our event partners include Capital BlueCross and Lehigh Valley Health Network Reilly Children’s Hospital. We are also partnering with many local companies and organizations who support child and family health  in the Lehigh Valley.

Event Times:

-Allentown: 10-1

-Bethlehem: Will be held at Southside for the Cops N Kids Event

-Easton: 4-7

-Nazareth: 10-2

-Slate Belt: 10-2

-Suburban North: 11-2

We hope to see you at Healthy Kids Day!  This event is free and open to the public!

Financial Assistance

Every day, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. At The Y, no child, family or adult is turned away due to an inability to pay.

Financial assistance awards are assessed on a case by case basis during a one-on-one, confidential session with a staff member. Those interested in applying for our financial assistance program are encouraged to download this form, or stop in to any of our branches to learn more and pick up an application.
