This year’s eighth annual First Presbyterian Church of Allentown’s golf tournament has a new name. We’re calling it Par for the Cause.
The cause once again is the Greater Valley YMCA- Allentown Branch’s winter Warming Station for the homeless, which has had another successful season of keeping this at-risk population safe and on the road to stability.
Last year’s tournament raised $21,717 for the Warming Station, increasing First Presbyterian Church of Allentown's cumulative total to more than $112,000 since they began fundraising in 2016. All proceeds are forwarded to the Greater Valley YMCA for the Allentown Warming Station.
Over the last year, the Allentown Warming Station has provided 3,354 beds and 2,125 meals through March 2022 and has provided Covid Testing weekly.

Financial Assistance
Every day, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. At The Y, no child, family or adult is turned away due to an inability to pay.
Financial assistance awards are assessed on a case by case basis during a one-on-one, confidential session with a staff member. Those interested in applying for our financial assistance program are encouraged to download this form in English or download this form in Spanish, or stop in to any of our branches to learn more and pick up an application.
