For 125 years, the Greater Valley YMCA Easton/Phillipsburg YMCA Branch has proudly served the community through programming focused on youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.

Our first location in Easton was located at what is now Pearly Baker's Alehouse on Centre Street and was chartered in 1898. Our second location, opened in January 1922, was built at the corner of Spring Garden and 3rd Streets in Easton. The Branch was one of the largest in Pennsylvania and featured a gymnasium, swimming pool, cafeteria, and hosted between 88-124 affordable housing units for men. We moved to our current location on West Lafayette Street on April 2, 1984.

We consider it an honor to be an integral part of so many people’s lives in our Easton community and treasure the opportunity to be a part of many more stories in the years to come.

We will be celebrating our long history with special events throughout 2023! We will be regularly posting new events throughout the year, so stay tuned to this page for our festivities!

Financial Assistance

Every day, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. At The Y, no child, family or adult is turned away due to an inability to pay.

Financial assistance awards are assessed on a case by case basis during a one-on-one, confidential session with a staff member. Those interested in applying for our financial assistance program are encouraged to download this form in English or download this form in Spanish, or stop in to any of our branches to learn more and pick up an application.
