Saucon Creek Branch Project
PROPOSED LOCATION: ADJACENT TO SOUTHERN LEHIGH PUBLIC LIBRARY
BENEFITS OF A YMCA IN THE SOUTHERN LEHIGH COMMUNITY
The Y is for everyone. Our programs, services and initiatives enable kids to realize their potential, prepare teens for college, offer ways for families to connect, empower people to become healthier, prepare people for employment, welcome newcomers, and help foster a nationwide service ethic.
And that's just the beginning.
The Y offers everything from lifesaving swim lessons to crucial childcare and early education programs, all while encouraging healthy lifestyles, fostering community and friendship, and combating social isolation. Y facility space can be offered to the community too. For example, the pool for school swim teams, space for winter sports practice, school partnerships, just to name a few.
The new facility would have no costs (legal, operational, etc.) to the community. The Saucon Creek Branch is a Branch for the people in Lower & Upper Saucon Townships and the community-at-large. The Y is a place for all to find an engaging center of activities.
Watch our recent Open Community Forum event on Wednesday, January 11 at 7:00 p.m. at Southern Lehigh High School.

Households across our community have different needs so we offer a variety of membership types. Each of our locations offer many different programs, schedules, and classes therefore offerings and fees may vary by branch.
Every day, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. At The Y, no child, family or adult is turned away due to an inability to pay.
Financial assistance awards are assessed on a case by case basis during a one-on-one, confidential session with a staff member. Those interested in applying for our financial assistance program are encouraged to download this form in English or download this form in Spanish, or stop in to any of our branches to learn more and pick up an application.
